WEEK 6

We finally reached the Hyderabad bus station which is supposed to be the world's largest bus station! Wow! We had to walk from bus lane 61 to bus lane 8 to meet Mr Siddiqui. He drove us to his house and we ate breakfast and settled down for a while. Then, we went to the Safdajung 3 museum. It is the world's biggest one-man collection museum. It was a huge Huge HUGE collection! It took us about 4 hours to see the whole thing and we were rushing because there was a western building, a central building and an eastern building. We had lunch at 3pm at Paradise restaurant. Mum ate a very spicy food and in a hurry to wash her hands, she fell down from her chair and onto the floor! (>0<) Sigh, clumsy mum. (-_-) When we came back, mum fell sick and slept for 45% of the day. Mrs Siddiqui's Chicken Briyanni was very nice and Mr Siddiqui's fruit ice-cream dessert was wow Wow WOW!!! It's so nice and yet so easy to make!

We had Stuffed Parantha and cereal for lunch and mum couldn't move her right arm! (>o<) I played with the 3 children while mum rested. We left at 4pm to go to the Secunderabad bus station. The train we took was the slowest train around and it will take about 24 ours to get to Bhubaneswar! We ate egg briyanni and chicken briyanni and went to sleep. Good nite!

Bhubansewar, Bhubaneswar, here we come. Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar, we are here! We finally reached Bhubaneswar at 4pm. We met uncle Jyoti and uncle Kishore and they brought us to the Utkal University which has guest houses for people to stay in. Our room was very nice, there was air-conditioned too! (^.^) We freshened up and went to eat dinner. Tomorrow will be rough! Haha, joking. Bye!

Happie Bday, Hanuman! (Hanuman is the monkey god.) We were very busy today, because we visited Puri and Konark, both are 60-65km away from Bhubaneswar. We left at 8.30 am and went to Shanti Stupa at Dhauli. This is the place where you can see the battlefield that King Ashoka fought the bloody war. You will be able to see the river which was once stained with blood during the war. It took 2 hours to get to Puri and we saw the amazing beach. There was no boat or ship in the sea, so you could see straight to the never-ending horizon. We then went to Konark and saw the LEGENDARY SUN TEMPLE which is a world heritage sight. We got a guide which was very Luo Suo... and unclear, but he IS a good guide at remembering things. Most of the parts of the sun temple were eroded and the interior was sealed off due to the danger instability. The guide invited us to his village and saw 2 villagers playing Daskathia (Bamboo and wood that is used for rhythm) while singing Palla. (A song mixture about old Ramayana epics and tales with mockery) We reached back at Bhubaneswar at 10pm and mum still wanted me to bathe! Ahh! So cold! (>0<) Good night!
