View of the L routes from our Ibis hotel. |

Gondola line from town to summit - G route. |

At the summit before equipping... |

At the summit all geared up and ready to ski! |

Each day, we drew out different ski outfits. |

Behind us in the distance is Changbaishan 长白山. |

We had fun playing with snow. |

Yoga on snow. |
| |
| There are a good number of beginner routes (F, M), intermediate (G3, G6, G7, E2, E3, , L3, S1) and advanced (G2, L2, L4, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6). We route-ticked all beginner and intermediate routes. Alvin managed to ski all except S3, S5 and S6. |

Beautiful run down E3 (intermediate/blue). |

E3 offers beautiful view of town scenery too. |

Jin and Robyn on the top of G7 (intermediate/blue). |

Alvin and Jin ready to ski downhill. |

冰雪世界
The Snow & Ice World wonderland offers fun rides for kids. Free for all hotel customers so we spent a few hours there to soak in the experience. But it was freezing cold so we didn't manage to stay long. |

The L lift is situated right in front of Ibis Hotel. After returning our gears, it's a short walk back to warmth. |

The design of the surrounding took after the delightful European mountain ski resort style. |
 |
Snow golf? Yes!
It's really quite cool to golf in a snow field. You drive the ball towards the white plain, the ball sinks right into the snow and somehow the undersnow mechanism brings the ball back.
So cool for Robyn's first golfing experience to be in snow condition.
Also free for hotel customers! |

We took a cab (only RMB40) to the nearby local town for shopping and dinner. The local 东北 (east-north) food was tasty and in mighty huge serving! |

|
On our 4th day, Jin and Robyn took up snowboarding lessons (2 hours over 2 mornings).

|
|
|
After multiple falls on bums and knees, both manage to edge gracefully down the slopes on their snowboards.

Learning on the nursery slope. |

Finally, they hit the F slope on snowboard. |
