3 Sep 2006 - Kids Central Live @ Singapore Indoor Stadium

Through word-of-mouth marketing by Julianna, we got to know about the Kids Central LIVE performance and came!

The carvinal was extremely crowded and we had to queue up very long for all the games that we managed to play.

The live performance in the Indoor Stadium was quite fun. We saw interesting musicals put up by the Teen Titans and Super Friends.

We bumped into many old friends at the carnival... Daddy Alvin met his old friend, Auntie Horng Ling, from the Singapore Adventurers' Club, as well as Uncle David Lau and his family.

24-30 Sep 2006 - Greg Crowe's Pottery Program

Greg Crowe

Daddy Alvin knew Uncle Greg Crowe in Perth back in 2004. Greg had been travelling for 5 months in Europe, USA and Canada to learn and teach pottery.

Enroute back to Australia, Alvin invited Greg to spend a week in Singapore to share his pottery art, knowledge and skills with local potters. Alvin organised a series of talk, workshops and masterclass for Greg Crowe. See www.clay-street.com.

30 Sep 2006 - Inspirational Visit to Mr Iskandar Jalil's Home

Mr Iskandar Jalil is a most gracious master potter. He kindly invited Greg Crowe's family and us to his home. It was an inspirational evening to listen to his stories and rich experiences.
