2-3 Apr 2005 - Heartware Board Retreat @ Bintan

Alvin was invited to attend a 1-day Heartware Network's Board Meeting at Nirwana Garden Resort at Pulau Bintan.

There were board members and their families as well as many youth leaders. The resort was nice and we all enjoyed good company and good food.

13 Apr 2005 - Seminar on Anti-Cancer Using Fermented Ginseng

Alvin and Dr Paula Lam invited a distinguished team of Professors from Korea's Won-Kwang University to share their discovery and expertise in treating cancer with fermented ginseng.

They are excited and hopeful that Ginseng, being natural and botanical and has been consumed for thousands of years, may open up new possibilities towards advancing cancer treatment.

Talk at the National Cancer Centre of Singapore The educational talk was held at the National Cancer Centre of Singapore and attended by oncologists, doctors and nurses, as well as interested friends and cancer patients.

After the talk, we showed our distinguished visitors around the Esplanade and dined at Junita's 2Hot Cafe there.
